REACTING to YOUR Lacrosse Highlight Reels (Part 3)

The talent level is ridiculous.

Good morning,

I’m Jake and this is Recruit Report presented by Apex Lacrosse Events.

I’m your friend who tells you everything you need to know about lacrosse.

Apex is already accepting applications for their Fall National Showcase, October 12 & 13, spots for this event fill out every year so be sure to apply!

Now, let’s get into it!

Reacting to Your Highlight Reels (Part 3)

We’ve received countless highlight reels (too many to watch), and it made my job even tougher of who to pick this week.

Keep nominating yourself! We’ll keep featuring recruits every week. Email [email protected] with a link to your our highlight reel and a writeup. We can’t guarantee a response to every email, but we try to open/read as many as we can!

Jack Romano (LSM/Defense, Class of 2025)

Jack’s an LSM that can do it all. In one clip, he’s be cutting off-ball and finding a way to score. In the next clip, he’s throwing a perfectly timed check and dislodging the ball from his opponent. And in another clip, he’s scrapping for a tough ground ball.

It doesn’t look like he’s committed anywhere yet, but I could see him being a solid late pickup for a lacrosse program needing a boost at the LSM position.

Parker Kohlhaas (Midfield, Class of 2026)

I think Florida is one of the best “second hotbeds” of lacrosse, and players like Parker Kohlhaas are a big reason why.

Only a sophomore, Parker has a ton of tricks in his bag, whether it’s finishing with a twister or stepping in from range on an outside shot.

He’s also a great defender, so coaches can play him all over the field. He has one last summer before the recruiting window opens, and I’m excited to see how his game and recruiting process plays out.

Carsten Snyder (Midfield, Class of 2027)

When I flipped on this highlight tape, I thought I was watching at least a sophomore or junior. It wasn’t until the end that I realized Carsten is just a freshman.

Carsten is extremely versatile especially for his class - you’ll see him thrive off-ball, as a d-middie, or taking it to the cage himself.

I’m definitely keeping tabs on his game and seeing how he develops in year 2 of high school lacrosse.

Kopelan Lee (Defense, Class of 2026)

When you’re the captain of your varsity team as a sophomore, there’s something different about you. The leadership and maturity it takes to lead any organization in only your second year is special, and he has the game to back it up.

Lee is defender who is excellent with his stick, throwing timely checks that leave offensive players frustrated. Now I’d like to see him win more matchups with his body/positioning, even if it means sacrificing the big check.

He’s another player who just finished up his sophomore season and will look to have a big summer.

As always, nominate yourself or another player to be featured: [email protected]

Talk soon,

Jake

P.S. remember to fill out an application for the Garden State Showcase.
